Meek Mill And Wale Are Beefing Again..........

Those peace talks was just a futile effort

We thought Wale and Meek Mill made peace after last month’s back-and-forth, but it looks like that didn’t last long.

If you need a refresher on the Meek/Wale situation, we made a whole comprehensive timeline for you, but here’s a brief recap: Wale said Meek brought a pencil to a gun fight in his Drake beef. Mill didn’t like that so he dissed him on Instagram. Rozay assured us things were resolved and now, for whatever reason, that feud’s been reignited.

Today, Meek shared a photo on IG with this caption where he appeared to call Wale a “f–kboy,” though he censored himself:
“You can’t b friends with someone who want your life…. You can’t break bread with someone who want you slice…. Can’t b on a team with someone who want you to lose…. Can’t b family if it’s gotta b all about you! #MMG X #DC minus the f#%kboy”
Soon after this, Wale took to Twitter with his own messages.
That last tweet had some fans puzzled, but thankfully, we know Spanish. If you translate “cargado,” it means “charged” (and Google will also tell you that). Of course, that’s being seen as a reference to Drake’s “Charged Up,” which was the first of two “Back-To-Back” Meek disses. Will we be getting dis tracks here too?
Meek and Wale went back-and-forth in a similar way last year. That was the first time we realized these two didn’t get along. They seemed to squash that, but last month, it all exploded again with the “pencil to a gun fight” drama.
Can’t we all just get along? Apparently, that’s not too easy for these two MMG stars right now.

Justin Timberlake and Tailor Swift surprise Selena Gomez 1989 tour

LOS ANGELES — Taylor Swift is looking up. Her eyes, glimmering, circle the Wednesday night crowd at the Staples Center, which is lit up with custom-made 1989 World Tour bracelets and homemade signs of glitter and puff paint. You see her winking at the fans in the 312 section before she lifts her gaze to the newly adjusted banner on the wall. Next to the L.A. Lakers’ championship flags floats her name in big block letters. “Taylor Swift: Most Sold-Out Performances,” it reads.

She has, yet again, broken another record.
“You, with your words like knives and swords and weapons that you use against me,” she sings, swinging her guitar in front of her for an acoustic performance of “Mean,” a song she wrote about an unfriendly critic years ago. She’s towering above thousands of fans — teens with cat ears, grown men with T.S. shirts, couples waiting for their song — and you can’t help but think that the 2010 song is even more meaningful in 2015, after her 1989 album went five-times platinum, her “Blank Space” video has been viewed over a billion times and she’s up for nine Moonmen at the2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
“And I can see you years from now in a bar… Drunk and grumbling on about how I can’t sing.”
She pauses.
And pauses.
And pauses.
And for every beat she stays silent, the screams get louder. She shrugs. She soaks it in. She lets you imagine what her life would’ve been like if that mean critic had actually gotten inside her head, instead of fueled her to become greater. And then, just as the screams reach peak decibel level, she sings the anticipated next line. “But all you are is mean.”
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Swift concert if there weren’t a few surprises, and she tells us that if we’re generous with our audible admiration, she’ll bring some special guests out.
Taylor introduces Selena Gomez as one of her best friends, a talented, beautiful, intelligent woman with the song of the summer (Taylor publicly voted for Sel’s “Good For You” for the Song of Summer VMA on Twitter last week). They strut down the catwalk, beaming at each other while they sing “Good For You” — perhaps remembering their 2011 duet at Madison Square Garden.
Taylor promises that that’s only the first surprise of the night, and shortly after, she’s introducing a lesser known artist, who’s only ever played in coffee shops before, “so be nice to her.”
“Phoebe Buffay, everyone!” she yells, nearly squealing, to the crowd’s delayed reaction. Lisa Kudrow walks onstage with an acoustic guitar as her character from “Friends,” one of Swift’s favorite ’90s sitcoms (Kudrow’s appearance comes just three nights after she brought “Friends” actor Matt LeBlanc to the tour).
Online, you’ll hear jokes about the different people Taylor invites to the 1989 Tour — whether she’ll run out of guests, how she manages to wrangle such high-profile celebrities, if it’s just for show — but you’ll never see Swift happier than the moment she sang “Smelly Cat” with Kudrow.
She plays her 1989 hits, of course — “Bad Blood,” “Style,” “Are We Out Of The Woods” — and she throws it back to old songs like “Mean,” “Love Story,” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.” She even mashes up the old and new, sewing together “Enchanted” and “Wildest Dreams” into a silky, inspiring ballad at the piano. But there’s another song she wants to sing — and it requires the help of one of her all-time musical crushes.
Nobody can hold it together when Justin Timberlake pops out from beneath the stage to sing “Mirrors,” his first performance since becoming a dad in April.
It’s hard for JT to leave the stage after the duet. He keeps running back down the catwalk and lingering next to the guitarist. Clearly, he just wants to stay and have fun with Taylor too.
But after two and a half hours, she leaves us with a “Shake It Off” dance party and about a dozen bows. As nearly 20,000 fans rifle out of the Staples Center, shuffling their sore feet through piles of confetti, each person touched by Taylor, you realize her impact. She brought all of us here for the love of music; she invited all her friends to perform for us; she inspired us to never give up on our dreams — despite the haters (who are just going to hate, hate, hate). She told us to forget the meanies.
And, yet, she only wants one thing from us: “If you could possibly be kind to yourself, as much as you possible can, that would make me so happy.”

Two of Nigeria’s finest pop stars, D’banj and E.M.E boss, Banky W, have just been unveiled as brand ambassadors of leading ultra-premium vodka, Ciroc.

At a special event held today, February 6, 2015 at Intercontinental Hotels in Victoria Island, Lagos, the duo were unveiled by Joe Nazel, the head of Ciroc Nigeria, who disclosed that the choice of both stars as the face of the premium drink took him and his team at least 6 months in planning and to arrive at the point of unveiling today.

Lady Gaga Remembers Whitney Houston With Heartfelt Tribute

Even though Lady Gaga must be super-psyched to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards, she’s also reminded of a tragedy that shook the music world around this time three years ago.
Gaga took to Instagram on Thursday (January 29) to share a heartfelt tribute to Whitney Houston, who died on February 11, 2012, one day before the 54th annual Grammy Awards.
“Every year around the Grammys I think about Whitney,” Gaga captioned the pic. “Her legendary voice, the sparkle of her eyes in the spotlight, a genuine compassionate spirit. I miss her all the time and wonder why she’s gone. A good time to remember to treat women and all artists with care. She gave us so much, what did we give her?”
This isn’t the first time Gaga has praised the late singer. At the 2011 Grammys, Gaga thankedHouston while accepting her award for Best Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster.
“I need to say thank you tonight to Whitney Houston,” Gaga said. “I wanted to thank Whitney because when I wrote ‘Born This Way,’ I imagined she was singing it because I wasn’t secure enough in myself to imagine I was a superstar. So, Whitney, I imagined you were singing ‘Born This Way’ when I wrote it. Thank you.”

She later explained the shout-out by saying, “I can’t tell you how much I listened to her growing up. She was my vocal idol for so many years. I thought of her voice when I wrote [‘Born This Way’] because she’s just such an incredible singer. I sort of planned to thank her a long time ago, at some point. I said, ‘If I ever win a Grammy I’m gonna thank Whitney’…so I did.”

Weird MC rocks burgundy suit  with a classy studio look

The rapper posted these pictures on Instagram, wearing a burgundy suit with wide lapel on a white shirt and a feminine turban....

She’s known for wearing baggy pants, combats, t-shirts, face caps and what have you. But for this recent appearance, she nailed it in a form that can pass for a corporate look....

The suit looks perfectly tailored and of course, she came off stylish as ever. We think the weird one should keep up this appearance although without her head tie, you’d probably not think she is a woman....

Wizkid continues tradition of throwing money at events...

Starboy boss, Wizkid was one of the celebrities present at the Terry G-headlined Industry Night session which held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Spice Route, Victoria Island Lagos.

At the event, the ‘Ojuelegba singer arrived a bit late in his newly-acquired Bentley and surely one to know how to make a scene, he paved the way for himself on his way in by throwing wads of Naira into the crowd gathered at the gate of the venue.

In recent times, Wizkid has imbibed the attitude of not just flaunting his wealth on social media but also of throwing cash at crowds at events. This was not the first time the ‘Jaiye Jaiye‘ singer would invoke a cash rain at a gig; he also did the same at the 2013 Felabration where he threw N100k in N500 notes into the crowd.

He repeated the action at the 2014 edition as well as at the December 2014 grand finale of Hennessy Artistry....

PHOTOS: K-Solo and Timaya reunite after 4 years...

The long-standing rift between two figures on the Nigerian music scene has just been resolved.

Dancehall star, Timaya and music producer, K-solo had not seen eye-to-eye in the last 4 years due to a hitherto lingering beef.

At the very beginning, Timaya’s music career kicked off with K –Solo who produced his monster hit single, ‘Dem Mama’. K-solo went on to produce the bulk of Timaya’s debut album, True Story and his contributions to his second and third albums, Gift and Grace and De Rebirth was quite significant as well before both stars went their separate ways. In separate interviews with different media outlets, they both vowed never to work with each other again but on Friday, January 9, 2015, a mutual friend reconciled them and sources say they are already recording a new song together. In an exclusive chat with NET, the mutual friend responsible for their reconciliation, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: ‘The funny thing is that they never fought, they just had a misunderstanding instigated by people in the industry who were not pleased with their combined force. Now, their re-union is simply God’s plan and I guess they’ve both missed each other.’ Shortly after the re-union, Timaya shared a photo of himself and K-solo with the caption: ‘Had a swell time with ma day one nigga, long-time producer, the man that made my first banging jams ever. K-SOLO…GOD bless u bro @obaksolo.’
